graduation weekend
I did it! Against few odds, I have graduated from college! Yay for me. This weekend was a total blast and full of much needed r&r. After the boring graduation events and TOO MANY restaurant excursions on Thursday and Friday, Hunter and I spent the weekend up in Midway with my parents and grandparents. Is there a more beautiful place in Utah? Bike rides, golfing, BBQs, the jazz game, reading by the fire, pedicures, shopping, singing songs on the Ukalaili with my grammy, and Yahtzee (I had THREE Yahtzees in one game: post-grad luck).

We're not in Kansas any more, Toto. We were robbed! Someone busted into our car. And it wouldn't be so bad if they actually went through all that trouble to steal something really great and expensive, like a wallet full of money or fancy stereo system, but no. All they took was a really cheap GPS. All that drama and shattered glass and expensive window repair for a jankie GPS. I hope they are REALLY disappointed when they take it to the pawn shop and only get $40. The good news is I used that convenient hole to reach in and steal some gum from Hunter's car the next morning.

jamaica, mon!
Well we're back from Paradise and quite depressed about it really. In my opinion, it was the most fun we have ever had on a vacation together! We enjoyed unlimited pina coladas, unlimited white sand beaches, and unlimited kisses and "I love you's". The trip getting there was quite a disaster and through an unfortunate string of events we ended up stuck in Miama for a night, but we made the most of it by taking a taxi to South Beach and getting deliciousssss sushi. The next morning we finally made it to Jamaica and got straight to work hanging out on the gorgeous white sand beach and eating delicious jerk chicken, washed down by fruity virgin drinks from the bar. That is where we spent most of our time, only to be interupted by the occasional game of shuffleboard or beach volleyball. On Saturday we went on an excursion up the mountains where we kayaked (but not really on kayaks, felt more like pool floaty toys) down a fresh water river that was as clear as the ocean. SOOOOOO much fun! Talking and laughing with our guides Keena and Pretty Ricky made this trip 100x's better. We had water fights, swung on a rope swing, and went on zip lines that zigzagged across the river. Well, I could describe every fun thing we did, but that would take too long, so just enjoy the bazillion pics I uploaded.

Reggae singers that had us bobbing our heads and dancing all night. Free entertainment from a particular extremely drunk man dancing around the crowd.
I would estimate that Hunter consumed 2 dozen pina coladas a day.
Our room, check out that view!!

I would not be surprised if this Jazz jersey mysteriously dissappears before our next trip...
Our snorkeling adventure, which was a bust because I am scared enough of the ocean as it is. The throngs of jellyfish made it worse. Everyone jumped out pretty quick.

Lots of this.

This Limestone behind us filters the water and gets rid of 80% of the bacteria! Cool fact.
Jerk Obsessed.
