Hunter threw a fit about what a terrible blogger I am tonight so here is my attempt at redeeming myself. I used to be really good at blogging, but now the task just seems daunting. I'm intimidated by all these other cool cats with cooking blogs and design blogs and fashion blogs and all sorts of fancy know-it-all blogging careers. I'm sorry faithful readers, if I have any, I'm just going to let you down. I promised Hunter I would be a better blogger, since now-a-days that seems to be part of the job description of being a good wife. No, it is not enough that I cook and clean and decorate and...cook and clean some more, no, now I have to compose an online photo journal to prove to the world that I am indeed fulfilling these duties. Could I just make a promise that I do cook and most of the time it is edible and sometimes it is even tasty? Will you just take my word for it? Thanks blogging friends, because unless I release myself from the self-imposed pressures of being a superblogger I will rarely be able command the time and energy to post anything that would hold a candle to my blogging competitors.
In other news, my older sister Kate got married this weekend and it was a fairy tale. Went off without a hitch, beautiful, romantic, slightly stressful for the stage crew, but a perfect wedding in the end. Hunter and I are also going to Sacramento for their west coast reception this weekend and another wedding in Denver the following weekend. Then school starts. WOW this summer went by too fast and now I think I want to cry. Summer don't leave me! I can practically feel the winter's icy breath breathing down my neck threatening to chase away the cloudless skies for murky grey snow filled sky blankets. I better go plan out my last month of summer day-by-day to take full advantage of every moment of the glorious heat.
